Divya Gunasekaran

Divya Gunasekaran is a standup comedian based in New York who has previously performed at the NY Comedy Festival, the NYC Asian Comedy Festival, the International Lady Laughs Comedy Festival, and Best of Fest at the Burbank Comedy Festival.

She was in the inaugural cohort of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Comedic Voices Program in 2022 and participated in The Onion’s writing workshop in partnership with the Diverse As Fuck Comedy Festival in 2023.

Divya is committed to showcasing diverse, underrepresented voices. She produces a weekly open mic and a monthly show featuring women and LGBTQIA+ comedians.

Outside of comedy, her life goals include cage diving with great white sharks and winning a pie eating contest.
