"It was a fun time. I couldn't make the festival because I was traveling, but I did their charity zoom show and got to be on the bill with some great comics, including Atsuko. Plus, despite not being at the fest, I still got a swag bag, which I turned into a cute halter top."

"I think it’s sometimes hard to feel like you’re in community with comedy, but VBVA made me feel in community with comics but also even more importantly with the audience. It’s hard to have creative spaces packed with Asians and VBVA did such a great job promoting Asian joy regardless of what type of Asian you were. The shows were great and the post fest celebration was so much fun. I think outside of the shows hanging out with everyone and playing ping pong/eating was one of the best parts of the festival.
